New Avenues for Youth’s Ambassador Board is hosting a special screening of “No Place to Grow Old”, a documentary that sheds light on Portland's growing homeless population of seniors. This 44-minute film, created by Humans for Housing, shares deeply personal stories and explores the systemic challenges of aging into homelessness. Following the screening, we will be hosting a discussion with Sean Suib, New Avenues for Youth’s Executive Director, and one of the filmmakers of NPTGO. Tickets are $20 and include either one glass of wine or sparkling water. 

New Avenues for Youth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and intervention of youth homelessness. Since 1997, our programs and services have impacted more than 30,000 young people as they work to overcome barriers, pursue their goals, and realize their potential. From supporting basic needs like meals and counseling to providing opportunities for education, job training, employment, and housing, we meet youth where they are and help them get where they want to go.
