Since 1977, New Narrative (formerly Luke-Dorf) has worked to dismantle barriers that keep people with serious mental health challenges on the margins of society. We meet thousands of people each year where they are in their journeys, offering housing options, clinical treatment plans tailored for each person's unique needs and goals, and community built from lived experience. With more than 40 sites in Washington and Multnomah Counties, we continue to build on the tenets of quality mental health care and prevent people from falling through the gaps in our behavioral health system. Join us for the grand opening and tour of New Narrative's first-ever centralized service hub...New Narrative East! This new service center, located on the corner of NE Halsey and 122nd, will respond to a growing need for timely, coordinated, and compassionate support for people navigating complex mental health challenges. New Narrative East will offer outpatient mental health treatment, peer support from people with lived experience, case management, and connections to housing, employment, and community-based resources. There will be light refreshments, remarks from community leaders, and a self-led tour of the space.
