The Employee Retention Tax Credit: Is your Business Leaving Money on The Table?

Monday, January 23, 2023 (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM) (PST)

Looking for ways to free up cash for other business growth opportunities?

Certain tax credits rolled out during the start of the pandemic were easily overlooked. Your business may be entitled to a refundable tax credit stemming all the way back to 2020.

The Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC), originally part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act in 2020 provided employers with an opportunity to generate a refundable tax credit for businesses affected by the pandemic.

Originally this was only valid in 2020 but has since been expanded through 2021 allowing employers who qualify, to still amend their returns and apply for the credit. Moss Adams will dive into the Employee Retention Tax Credit and provide you with an overview of how this untapped credit could free up cash for other business growth opportunities to keep you moving forward in 2023.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) could benefit your business
  • Learn how you may qualify for this tax credit
  • Explore how to take advantage of this credit in 2023
  • Update on other federal and regional tax credits

 Lunch will be provided.
