Join Emerging Professionals of Portland (EPOP) for a virtual happy hour with guided breakout sessions. This month we will be featuring guest speakers from EPOP’s non-profit partners, XXcelerate and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) is a global leader in the fight against cancer. The LLS mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.

Xxcelerate is a 501(C)(3) organization providing business support, education and pathways to funding for Oregon’s womxn entrepreneurs. We help them to grow their businesses, connecting them to valuable resources, education and mentorship, so they may be sustainable and profitable.  Virginia Lemos will be presenting on Allyship for Gender Equity in Entrepreneurship, providing an overview of the current state of womxn powered businesses and strategies for allies to support as agents of change in addressing this major issue.

Emerging Professionals of Portland (EPOP) is a program that offers emerging professionals a place to prosper and develop their careers, build a peer network and gain exposure to business leaders. EPOP offers programming focused on educational and professional development, as well as civic engagement and networking opportunities.
