Too many queer and transgender youth experience rejection from their families of origin simply for being who they are\, making them significantly more likely to experience homelessness than their peers. Nationally\, LGBTQIA2S+ young people are 120% more likely to experience homelessness\, and more than one in four have experienced homelessness or housing instability at some point in their lives. Family rejection remains one of the leading drivers of youth homelessness. \nEvery ticket purchased helps New Avenues provide affirming shelter\, housing\, education\, employment\, and support services where every young person is welcomed\, valued\, and empowered to build the future they deserve. \nYour $50 ticket includes access to pickleball\, lawn games\, pizza\, salad\, and soda. A cash bar will also be available onsite.
