From stadiums and arenas to venues and food trucks, live events are under increasing pressure to reduce waste, lower emissions, and deliver more responsible guest experiences. But behind every "zero waste" claim is a complex operational reality. Reuse systems, food recovery partnerships, staffing, vendor coordination, and back-of-house logistics all play a major role in whether sustainability efforts succeed at scale.
For PNW Climate Week, Bold Reuse and Bridge 13 are convening venue operators and hospitality professionals for an honest conversation about the future of low-waste events. This panel will explore what sports and entertainment venues are getting right, where major gaps still exist, and what operational changes are needed to move from short-term sustainability initiatives to long-term systems change.
Light bites and drinks will be served alongside the panel. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events. Please reach out to us or specify your accommodation needs during registration so we can ensure your full participation.
