Rose City 5k Run – Presented by Nike

Description

We’re ready to run! With a spring in our step, we are lacing up our sneakers, so join us for the Portland Business Alliance’s annual Rose City 5K, presented by Nike.

Whether you’ve competed in an Ironman or enjoy a lovely stroll, all are welcome to register, as a team or solo,

Online registration will close at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10.

Great, you’ve registered! What now?

Participants will be able to pick up their number and grab a goodie-bag either on Wednesday, May 10 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m or the day of the race, Thursday, May 11 from 1:00-3:00 p.m at the World Trade Center outdoor pavilion

Just to jog your memory, all race participants receive:

• 1 Nike Dri-FIT t-shirt
• Rose City 5k tote with goodies
• 1 Race bib and 1 chip timer
• More coming soon!

Awards will be given out for the following categories:

• Fastest team
  
• Largest team
  
• Best team name (get creative!)
• Best team spirit (show your true colors!)
• Loudest team (cheer on your teammates!)

In addition to team awards, the top three finishers in each age division (male & female) will receive a medal.

At the post-run reception you can enjoy a tasty, complimentary local beverage and dance it out to live music from The Cascadians! We will also be doing a door prize drawing for roundtrip tickets on Southwest Airlines, local wine bags, and other fun prizes...must be present to win. 

A portion of proceeds for this event will support the Portland Parks Foundation and their work to maintain and support our city’s spectacular parks. Don’t forget to select your donation amount when registering.
