This month, join us at Fogo de Chao!
Fogo elevates the centuries-old cooking technique of churrasco – the art of roasting high-quality cuts of meat over an open flame – into a cultural dining experience of discovery. The gaucho culture, a rich blend of traditions of European immigrants and Brazilian natives, stands as one of the best-known cultural symbols of Brazil. Established in the 17th century in Southern Brazil, it spread throughout the country. Our first restaurant in Oregon is located in the heart of Downtown Portland in the historic Public Services Building, just a short walk to Pioneer Square.
In May we will feature two amazing Portland area nonprofits:
United Cerebral Palsy Oregon and American Cancer Society Portland.
At United Cerebral Palsy Oregon, We believe that everyone has the right to independence, inclusion, and advocacy. We started out supporting children who experienced cerebral palsy, but now we support adults and children who experience any developmental/intellectual disability.
The mission of the American Cancer Society is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
